Meet Our Principal

Welcome to the “Home of the Wildcats”! I am honored to be the principal of Valley Oak Elementary School. Our school is special in many ways. We average approximately 570 students which gives our school a small, community feel. Our parents are true partners in education, volunteering numerous hours in classrooms and through our parent club opportunities. Our staff is passionate about their jobs and are here to serve our students and families.

Making a difference is our motto this year. We recognize that we are educating the “whole child” and are looking for ways to support students in all capacities, academically, socially and emotionally. Our staff is dedicated to “Making a Difference” for all of our students.

We are a proud Clovis West High School feeder school, preparing our students for what lies ahead at Kastner and Clovis West. We have high expectations of our students in mind, body and spirit. These ideals were set forth by our founding school superintendent the late, Dr. Floyd Buchanan. We encourage all students to participate in co-curricular activities to get a variety of learning opportunities during their elementary years.

I look forward to working with you this year. Please communicate with your child’s teacher or myself if you ever have a question or concern.

Wildcats ROCK!
