Dear Wildcats,

Thank you to all of our families for helping make Teacher Appreciation Week so special! Your kind words, thoughtful gestures, donations, and continued support mean so much to our staff. Our teachers work incredibly hard each day to support, encourage, and inspire students, and it was wonderful to see them feel so appreciated this week.

We are grateful for the strong partnership we share with our school community and appreciate all you do to support our teachers and school throughout the year. Thank you for helping us celebrate the amazing educators who make a difference in the lives of our students every day!

TK/Kinder Registration

TK and Kindergarten registration is still open for the upcoming school year! If you have a child eligible for TK or Kindergarten, or know a family who may be interested, please contact our school office to begin the enrollment process. We are excited to welcome our newest students and families to our school community!

To be eligible to register for Transitional Kindergarten, a child must reach four (4) years of age before September 1, 2026.
To be eligible to register for Kindergarten, a child must reach five (5) years of age on September 1, 2026.

Students currently enrolled at Valley Oak do not need to be re-registered.

Please note a recent change in enrollment procedures, immunization records must be up to date prior to finalizing registration paperwork.

For more information, please get in touch with our front office staff who can assist with any questions regarding enrollment.

Testing Update!

We are proud of the hard work and determination our students have shown throughout state testing! As we enter our final week, we want to encourage all students that still have testing to complete to continue using the strategies they’ve practiced, take their time, and finish strong. We are excited to wrap up testing on a positive note and celebrate the effort our students have put forth. Students demonstrating positive testing habits will continue to be entered into our NeeDoh raffle! To support a focused testing environment, students arriving after 8:30 AM will remain in an alternative location until testing concludes for the day. Thank you for your continued support and partnership in helping our students do their very best!
