Dear Wildcats,
Each year, our students are taught grade level digital citizenship lessons at the beginning of the year. It is imperative that our children learn at a young age how to be responsible while online. Many children are on devices at a much earlier age and may not be equipped with the necessary tools to understand all that they need to remain safe. Please look at the enclosed tips for establishing healthy boundaries regarding electronics.
There are many different topics that have articles on how to deal with certain situations your children may accidentally stumble upon while on the internet. Even with the best parental controls, your children may be exposed to things outside of your control. One of the helpful websites we use is https://www.commonsensemedia.org/articles. Please see the flyer below for more information as well. Thank you for being a partner in your child’s education.
With Wildcat Pride,
Aman Athwal
Principal
